Simona Borza

Independently Contracted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

PMHNP

Openings Available

I am happy to have joined A Healing Intention, in June 2025, thus becoming part of a quality healthcare team, which I have known for years. I have a 16-year career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, working in a variety of healthcare environments. In mental healthcare we, as providers, work often to prevent disorder exacerbation, as well as to stabilize severe symptoms, however, my main objective is finding and treating the causes of disorder, as much as possible. I do psychiatric evaluations and create treatment plans in collaboration with the patient and, when applicable, with other providers involved in the patient's care.

My approach in mental healthcare is holistic, keeping in mind the intricate mind-body-environment connection. I am not a fan of "one size fits all" and I pay attention to every individual's physiology and needs. I am committed to staying up to date with the latest research in psychiatry, pharmacology and other medical conditions that may affect mental health.

You and I will communicate openly, honestly, non-judgmentally, and we will work together as a team.

I am here to put in my knowledge and my skills, to help you restore the functional balance you need and deserve, so you can enjoy life in good health!
